Submit each clip as a separate evaluation. Keep the returned IDs and retrieve each result independently.
  • Cap concurrent submissions at your account limit.
  • Honor Retry-After when the API returns 429.
  • Let the SDK retry safe requests with exponential backoff.
  • Use a stable metadata ID to connect each evaluation to your own record.
Both SDKs allow four concurrent requests by default. Configure maxConcurrency in TypeScript or max_concurrency in Python when your account has a different limit.
A create request can succeed before its connection fails. The SDK sends evaluations.create only once because submitting it again can create and charge for a second evaluation. Save every returned evaluation ID.
